Hi Don,
I've been through my profile settings many times, and don't think there is a problem with the way that I'm set up. But in an effort to review the product fairly, both for the manufacturer AND my readers, I would be happy to go through my settings and make any changes that need to be made. I would also be happy to edit my review if any changes are warranted.

I'm following you on Twitter and will contact you either there or through the Daniel Audet's show ( http://www.ustream.tv/channel/The-Truckstar-Live ).

Thanks for the input,

Dennis

Comment for the PCM430 evaluation on "Truck Routing." This unit takes your "Routing Profile" settings very literally (as it should.) If you are on the route that it gave you and you get the "non-trucking road" warning, there is a strong possibility that your truck profile is wrong in some way. The one exception is in the state of Illinois where it falsely gives you trucking road warnings due to a bug. ALK Technologies is releasing the first software update to these units on July 1st in which the "Illinois" bug will be fixed and new maps will be added. Your review, however, is very good in general, and in its accuracy overall. If the author would like to contact me via email or phone, please do so and perhaps we can find a tweak that optimizes the truck profile better which may result in an amendment to this review to make it as accurate as possible for the readers. I have found in months of testing this unit that it is generally highly accurate (but definitely not "perfect") in its truck routing advice.
