Even one as large as this one is. They just take up too much "real estate". However, you might be able to get an external DVD player in a USB "flavor", not sure. It would all come down to having enough bandwidth on even a 2.0 USB port to play movies without "stuttering". I suspect one would only encounter that anomaly if attempting to STREAM HD quality from an online source though.
